[Assignment]Summary

This is a /brief/ summary about Mr. Dean's speech, 'Creativity in the Classroom'.

Mr. Dean himself researched about creativity. In the speech, he says creativity is Production, Fun, Researchable, and Improvable and NOT Reproduction, Easy, Magic.

There's often a trigger outside that triggers a person's creativity, and shifting your eyes is believed to increase creativity because you shift your brain thinking.

Now, there's myths, or pseudo-science, about creativity. One is drugs/alcohol/fear/deadlines/money increases creativity, and structure is bad for creativity. Another is that you need to be great in art to be a creative person.

But as myths often are, they are not true. But one thing IS bad for creativity- distractions. Cell phones and other outer distractions "distract" the person from doing creative thinking. But not all distractions are bad. Actually, a little bit of distraction help the person do creative thinking. For one example, just looking at a random word(in a dictionary, thesaurus, etc) can help the person think.

We should all try to increase creative thinking.
